description=Five seat Reconnaissance\/bomber twin-float seaplane. Designed by Ing. Stiavelli and manufactured by Costruzioni meccaniche Aeronautiche S.A. (C.M.A.S.A.) at Marina di Pisa , the RS14 was one of the outstanding float seaplane of the Second World war. It was of exceptionally clean design.The proptotype was first flown in the 1938. The series production plane carried two 7.7 mm Breda Safat side  mounted machine guns in hatches on the fuselage sides. The remaining difensive armament consisted of a Lanciani type E dorsal turret with a single 12.7 mm Scotti machine gun. All offensive armament was accomodated in a detachable ventral gondola which could house two 335 lb depth charges , four 220 lb bombs of various types, or six 88 lb or 110 lb bombs. Eight fuel tank were installed in wings fuselage and floats , total capacity being 648 Imp. gal.
